GDocs / Legal
Privacy Policy
Your files stay connected to your Google account. Here is what GDocs accesses, where information goes, and the choices you have.

01Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how Trivex Pulse LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles personal information in connection with GDocs, our macOS application, its companion Safari extension, and this legal website (together, the “Service”). Trivex Pulse LLC is responsible for the processing described in this Policy, subject to the separate responsibilities of the third-party services identified below.
GDocs is an independent application. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google LLC. Google services are governed by Google’s own terms and privacy policy.
Contact us at support@trivexp.com or +1 (731) 236-4578 about this Policy or your personal information.
02Information the Service handles
- Google account details. When you connect your Google account, GDocs accesses your account identifier, email address, display name, and profile image URL to identify your account and show your profile.
- Authorization information. Google supplies OAuth tokens that allow the app to access the services you authorize. The app uses those tokens rather than asking you to give us your Google password. Google’s sign-in page handles your Google credentials.
- Drive information. GDocs accesses file and folder names, identifiers, types, sizes, timestamps, ownership and sharing indicators, links, thumbnails, starred and trash status, and synchronization information. File contents are processed when needed for actions you request, such as opening, downloading, importing, copying, or generating content from a selected reference.
- Files and actions you choose. The Service handles files you select for upload or download, sharing records, transfer status, and content you create or edit through Google Workspace services.
- AI Create inputs and results. If you use AI Create, the Service processes your prompt, title, selected reference names and extracted text, outlines, generated content, and request usage information.
- Safari save requests. If you use the extension, it handles the selected page title and URL, image source URL and image data, or a screenshot of the visible tab, together with local save-job and upload-status information.
- Support communications. If you contact us, we receive the contact details, messages, and attachments you send. Please omit passwords, access tokens, and unnecessary confidential content.
- Technical information. Network providers receive connection information such as your IP address and request headers when delivering their services. The app may also write operational and error messages to local macOS logs.
03How information is used
We use information to authenticate your account; display and synchronize your Drive library; carry out file, sharing, and editing actions you request; provide optional AI generation and Safari saving; respond to support requests; and protect and maintain the Service.
The app’s routine Google API requests travel from your device to Google. AI requests travel from your device to OpenRouter. We do not operate a separate GDocs document-storage server for these workflows. Local processing and direct connections still involve the data handling described in this Policy.
We do not sell personal information, use Google user data for advertising, or use your Google files to train or improve general-purpose AI models. The Service does not include advertising or a third-party behavioral analytics SDK in the current implementation.
04Google access and Limited Use
GDocs requests basic account permissions and the Google Drive permission https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive. This Drive permission is broad and can allow viewing, creating, editing, sharing, and deleting files accessible to your account. GDocs uses access to provide its visible file-management and Workspace features. Your organization’s permissions and Google’s restrictions may limit particular actions.
We follow the Google API Services User Data Policy and its Limited Use rules when handling or transferring information obtained through Google APIs. We limit that information to providing and improving the user-facing features you use. We do not transfer it for advertising, data brokerage, credit decisions, or general AI-model training.
Any transfer of Google user data must be necessary to provide or improve an appropriate user-facing feature with your consent, for security purposes, to meet legal obligations, or as otherwise permitted by that policy. We do not routinely read your Google content. Any human access must meet the policy’s permitted conditions, such as your specific agreement for support, a security investigation, or a legal requirement.
You can review or revoke access at Google Account connections. Revoking access prevents further authorized access but does not delete files already stored in Google Drive or information previously sent to another provider.
05Optional AI Create
AI Create uses OpenRouter to route generation requests to a model provider. When you submit a generation request, your prompt, title, selected reference filenames and extracted text, and any outline needed for that request are sent to OpenRouter and the provider serving the configured model. This may include Google Drive content if you selected a Drive reference. The current app is configured to request a Google Gemini model through OpenRouter; routing availability and the configured model may change between releases.
Using Drive browsing or synchronization alone does not submit your files to AI Create. Only include material you are authorized to disclose to an external AI service. If you do not want this processing, do not submit an AI Create request or attach references to it.
GDocs requests provider routing that disallows use of request data for training. This setting does not guarantee zero retention or eliminate provider security, abuse-prevention, billing, or legally required records. OpenRouter and the selected model provider apply their own processing and retention terms; see OpenRouter’s provider data-handling documentation and linked provider policies.
The app holds the working generation state in memory. Publishing a result sends the approved content to the corresponding Google Workspace service and stores the resulting file in your Google account. Closing or resetting a generation does not recall information already sent to an AI provider.
07Storage and retention
- Credentials and profile. Google authorization sessions and account profile details are stored in macOS Keychain. Sign-out attempts to remove the stored session and profile and revoke the Google authorization.
- Drive cache. File metadata and sync state are stored in a local Core Data/SQLite cache. Sign-out attempts to delete the signed-in account’s Drive cache. File downloads, exported documents, and Google-hosted content are separate from this cache.
- Sharing and extension records. Quick Share history and Safari save-job records or payloads may remain in local application-support or shared-container storage until removed. Sign-out does not erase all of these records or automatically remove shared copies from Google Drive.
- AI and Google content. AI working state is kept in memory; selected Drive references may be downloaded temporarily for text extraction. Google-hosted files remain until you delete them under Google’s retention rules. AI providers retain information under their applicable policies and settings.
- Support. We keep correspondence only as needed to handle the request, resolve related issues, and meet applicable legal obligations, then delete or de-identify it.
Removing the app may leave local application data, extension containers, Keychain entries, downloaded files, or system backups. To request help removing local records or information we hold, contact support@trivexp.com. We cannot erase data controlled solely by Google, AI providers, recipients, or your backup provider on their behalf.
08When information is disclosed
The Service discloses information to Google for account and Workspace functions; to OpenRouter and the serving model provider for AI requests you submit; to people who obtain your sharing links; and to the infrastructure and communications providers needed to deliver this website or respond to you.
We may disclose relevant information when legally required, to investigate fraud or security incidents, or to protect legal rights. In a merger or transfer of the Service, information may transfer subject to this Policy and applicable law. These circumstances do not override the restrictions applicable to Google user data.
Third-party services have their own policies. See Google’s Privacy Policy, OpenRouter’s Privacy Policy, and Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.
09This website and cookies
This legal website is hosted using Cloudflare Workers static assets. Cloudflare processes request information, including IP addresses, requested URLs, timestamps, and browser or network information, to deliver and protect the website. Its infrastructure may maintain operational or security records under its policies and account settings.
The pages themselves do not set cookies, use local storage, load remote fonts, or include analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts. Hosting-layer security features may operate separately. Google pages displayed inside the app can use their own cookies and WebKit storage for sign-in and editing; those are separate from this website.
10Your choices and privacy rights
You can disconnect your Google account by signing out and independently revoke access in Google Account settings. You can manage files and shared links in Google Drive, decline AI features, and disable the extension or its website permissions in Safari settings.
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a portable copy of personal information; restrict or object to processing; withdraw consent; and complain to a privacy regulator. Some US residents may also have rights concerning the sale, sharing, or targeted-advertising use of personal information. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Send requests, including any applicable appeal or authorized-agent request, to support@trivexp.com. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify identity and authority. We respond within the period required by applicable law and do not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. Where information is held only on your device or by a third party, we will explain the available controls rather than imply that we possess a central copy.
11Legal bases and international processing
Where the law requires a legal basis, we process information as needed to perform our contract with you, with your consent for optional processing where required, to meet legal obligations, or for legitimate interests such as security and responding to support requests, balanced against your rights. You can withdraw consent for future processing; this does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
Google, OpenRouter, model providers, Cloudflare, and communications providers may process information in countries outside your own. Where we are responsible for a restricted international transfer, we use a lawful transfer mechanism and safeguards required by applicable law. Contact us for information about safeguards relevant to information we control.
12Security and children
GDocs uses HTTPS for its service connections and macOS Keychain for stored Google credentials. Access to your device, its backups, and public sharing links affects the security of your information. No storage or transmission system is completely secure.
The Service is not directed to children under 13 or a higher minimum age required by local law. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us so that we can investigate and take appropriate action.
13Changes and contact
We may update this Policy to reflect changes in the Service or our practices. The effective date appears above. We will give additional notice of material changes and obtain consent when required by applicable law before applying new processing practices.
